Faith-Based and Community Partnerships by Arthur F. Jones on 2/27/2009 6:53:13 AM

Message Faith-Based and Community Partnerships was posted by Arthur F. Jones, on 2/27/2009 6:53:13 AM.

Recently, President Obama created the Office of Faith-Based and Community Partnership. The New Samaritan Baptist Church (930 Huger Street, Columbia, SC 29201) is the only African-American institution left standing in the historic "Ward One" Community.

We are interested in jobs creation, education, and economic and community development opportunities that will occur in the "Innovista". This sector of the City is in the 6th Congressional District (Congressman Jim Clyburn). We appreciate comprehensive assistance to launch our Faith-Based projects.

Respectfully submitted,
Arthur F. Jones
Deacon
